The Child Development and Key Club students helped the homeless attendees of the event sort through and find children's clothing that would fit their specific size and gender needs. The clothing was collected and donated as a result of a children's clothing drive held by the Child Development program. The donations were then bagged and sorted by the Key Club at their last meeting. The students also assisted the attendees in finding the services that were needed most, and helped the organizers with other tasks.
“It was a fantastic day of giving, and the girls did a wonderful job,” said Mrs. Seugling, the Key Club Advisor.
Students in the Cosmetology preformed Hair cutting services for the residents.
Celeste Keating, Jasmine Lee, Amber Francy and Hunter Valeo donated their time and services to the local community as representatives of the Key Club and the Child Development program.
