Congratulations to Girls State Delegates
Congratulations to Junior Health Science students Rachel Pagano and Celeste Keating who were recently named as delegates to American Legion Auxiliary Girls State, representing Warren County Technical School. Junior Health Sciences student Alyssa Larsen was also chosen as an alternate.

Congratulations to Junior Health Science students Rachel Pagano and Celeste Keating who were recently named as delegates to American Legion Auxiliary Girls State, representing Warren County Technical School. Junior Health Sciences student Alyssa Larsen was also chosen as an alternate.

Girls State is an experiential learning program designed to develop young women as future leaders grounded in patriotism and Americanism.To be selected as a representative students must be keenly interested in government and current events, have high moral character, show strong leadership abilities and demonstrate above-average scholastic achievement. Candidates will be selected based on academic achievement, leadership, patriotism, community involvement, extracurricular activities.

Girls State takes place at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ from Sunday June 17, 2018 - Friday June 22, 2018. Girls State offers training in the practical processes of self-government and good citizenship as practiced in a democratic society.
